June 24, 2007 - Fayette Friends of Animals will be having their sixth annual Ex-PAWS-ition, a fun day out for families and their pets, on
Sunday, June 24 from 12 pm to 5 pm at the
Christian Klay Winery in Chalk Hill.  This event will memorialize "Martin", Sharon Klay's dog,
who passed away recently.  Activities include a spaghetti dinner (take-out available, cost $7.00) from 12-4, rabies clinic from 12-1, pet
photos from 12-2, a blessing of the animals along with a pet memorial for the loss of animals due to the recent pet food recall, a pet
contest/parade and much, much more!!!  Leashed pets are encouraged and welcome!!! Come join us for a very fun day and help all of

April 28, 2007 - Fayette Friends of Animals - Paws Across America Memorial March on Saturday, April 28 at 10 a.m. at Dunlap Creek
Park in Uniontown.  This is off of Haydenville Road off of Rt. 40 west. In conjunction to the nationwide event that is being sponsored by
Pets Need a Voice Too, based out of Texas.  We are getting together to memorialize all of the pets who have lost their lives or been
sickened due to the latest pet food recall.  We are also having this to protest against the lowered safety standards of the pet food
industry.  There will be a few keynote speakers available with a memorial and a balloon release for the pets who are gone.  The dog
search and rescue team will also be there to participate. Refreshments will be avaialable.  The public is invited to participate and we
encourage them to bring their leashed pets.

April 28, 2007 - "Wizard of Oz, a play, will be held on April 28, 2007, at the Uniontown High School
at 2 p.m.  Starting January 23, 2007, a representative will be calling the public for ticket sales, or you can purchase a ticket by calling
724-437-1965.  All proceeds benefit Fayette Friends of Animals NO-KILL Shelter."

May 6, 2007 - Calendar Party - All Saints Social Hall in Masontown - Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m.  Tickets on sale now!!  There will be
great food and fun, including a Chinese auction!  

May 12, 2007 - Bake Sale in front of Uniontown Wal-Mart - Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the
shelter.
